The Pathway agreement between CIMA and SAICA presents a rare and a wonderful opportunity to existing members of the two prestigious professional bodies to augment their skills for the dynamic business environment. It will enhance member’s capabilities in order to step up their influence in business, whilst also growing their careers.

How does IMAS aim to assist you?

SAICA member to CIMA membership – CGMA

IMAS SAICA member preparation programme has two intakes per annum aimed at the:

1. May CIMA Strategic Case Study

  • SAICA members will attend all three subjects at Strategic level to prepare for the CIMA Strategic Case Study Exam, either mid-week at our Sandton Branch or on weekends at our Braamfontein Campus.
  • These classes will run for 8 weeks, starting mid- February. They will followed by two days of revision for each subject, mock exam and feedback session.
  • SAICA members with less than nine years’ experience will write an E3 exam before starting with the Strategic Case Study workshop, which will be conducted over two weekends.
  • Detailed Timetable will be available here, by end of October.

2. November CIMA Strategic Case Study

  • SAICA members will attend all three subjects at Strategic level to prepare for the CIMA Strategic Case Study Exam, either mid-week at our Sandton Branch or on weekends at our Braamfontein Campus.
  • These classes will run for 8 weeks, starting end of July. They will be followed by two days of revision for each subject, mock exam and feedback session.

CIMA member to SAICA membership – CA(SA)

IMAS aim to start with the SAICA Initial Test of Competence (ITC), for ACMA (CGMA) in 2018. IMAS will have two intakes per annum aimed at assisting CIMA members to write the SAICA ITC, either in January or June.

The ITC preparatory course will run over four months on Saturday and Sunday, every second and fourth week of the month, starting in February for the June 2017 Exam, taking place on the 20th & 21st of June. For the January 2019 Exam, taking place on the 30th & 31st January 2019, classes will start in July:
