Choose between full-time, part-time or distance learning. Full-Time is only Offered at our Johannesburg Campus, while Part-Time is offered in Johannesburg; Sandton; Pretoria and Durban. Our part-time students have the option of either attending evening classes or weekend classes in some of our branches. A Monthly Block Releases is being offered in East London and for the first time in Port Elizabeth in 2019. A distance learning is also offered, see below for more details.
CIMA Full-Time Classes
You will need a Matric certificate with a pass in both Mathematics and English. If you don’t have Mathematics, you will need a minimum of 50% in Maths Literacy. This will allow matriculants to be accepted to study towards the CIMA Qualification.
Students from outside South Africa with other equivalents of Matric i.e. Form E, A levels, SGCSE, IGCSE etc. are welcome to apply.
Individuals who possess a Diploma or Degree in any Accounting or Finance related field, will be able to study towards the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting (Operational Level) or the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (Management Level), depending on the exemptions CIMA would grant them.
Our CIMA Part-time Programme is the most flexible and dynamic programme you can find in South Africa.

Students have an option of attending either evening classes during the week or weekend classes. Currently evening classes are offered in Sandton.
All our students across the country have access to our online student portal which gives them access to:
- Pre-recorded Lecture Videos, they can watch them as many times as they want
- Class Notes
- Discussion Forum with fellow students and lecturers with access on their mobile
Through the Part-Time Programme, the following is offered:
- A minimum of 22.5 hours of contact teaching sessions
- A mid-term progress test
- Two full days’ revision sessions
- Mock exam and feedback session
- Access to our tutors and additional resources to help you pass through our online student portal
Our distance learning or home study programme is meant for students who are based in locations that are further from our campuses or students who are looking for flexibility.
We provide our students with study material and provide them with access to our online student portal and Mobile App (Accounting Tutors), which is loaded with pre-recorded lecture videos and study notes.
A scheme of work with detailed weekly outcome has been designed to assist distance learning or home study programme students cope with their studies. This will include:
- Access to weekly videos to align them with what is being covered in our different campuses.
- Weekly assignments to assist students work on a consistent basis.
Students will also be supported by our efficient student liaison officers and subject matter experts via our WhatsApp Groups.
Monthly Block Release:
In addition to our East London Monthly Block Release, Port Elizabeth will be added so we can provide support to students who are unable to drive to East London to attend classes.
Students in East London and Port Elizabeth, will get the same amount of hours as students in other branches except that theirs classes will be on a monthly block release basis. This mean, instead of attending every weekend, they will attend once or twice a month on a Saturday and Sunday. Students will also have access to our student online portal, which is loaded with pre-recorded lecture videos and class notes. Students will also be supported by our efficient student liaison officer and subject matter experts via our WhatsApp Groups.
