Choose Your Route

Matriculants

As a matriculant, you start CIMA by studying the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting, which will give you a solid grounding in the fundamentals of management accounting. The certificate is a standalone qualification as well as being the stepping stone to the CIMA Professional Qualification.

Undergrad/Graduate

If you hold any accredited or relevant accounting, finance or business qualification, You may be eligible for exemptions from the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting or from certain exams within the CIMA Professional Qualification. IMAS is happy to assist you to ascertain what exemptions you can get. Contact us and will gladly assist you info@imas-sa.co.za.

Working

If you have no formal education in business or finance, you will start by studying the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting, which will give you a solid grounding in the fundamentals or management accounting. You can study it as a stand-alone qualification or as a stepping stone to the CIMA Professional Qualification.
