You don’t need any formal qualifications to start this level. You will need a good understanding of both English and Maths and a passion to succeed in Business.
If you have any previous accounting experience you might be eligible for exemptions from subjects at this level. IMAS will gladly assist you to get your exemptions.
About The Business Accounting Certification
The certificate consists of four subjects: BA1: Fundamentals of Economics; BA2: Fundamentals of Management Accounting; BA3: Fundamentals of Financial Accounting; BA4: Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business Law
Upon completing the Certificate, you will be able to proceed to the CIMA Professional Qualification, starting at the Operational level (CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting).
The duration purely depends on you. However we recommend that you give yourself 12 months to complete the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting.
