Requirements to be accepted on the full-time programme is a Grade 12 pass with a minimum level 4 in English and Mathematics. Students with Maths Literacy or Level 3 in Mathematics will be accepted into the ‘Foundation in Accountancy’ (FIA) programme. To learn more about the FIA programme, please contact us.

IMAS delivers a dynamic part-time programme that is geared towards providing quality teaching and excellent student support. Our ACCA classes are offered midweek and on weekends.

For our ACCA programme, we have two intakes per annum for the Knowledge, Skills and Strategic Professional Level aimed at June and December exams. Alternatively, students can start anytime through our online distance learning programme supported by pre-recorded class videos with guided study programme

To start will depend on what qualification do you have:

– Knowledge Level – you will need a minimum of Grade 12 with Mathematics and English. If you don’t meet the minimum criteria, you can start with the Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) which will allow you to proceed to the Skills Level. For more info on FIA,please contact us.

– Skills Level – if you have a National Diploma, Degree or Honours in Accounting or Business related studies, you may be eligible for exemptions. A maximum of 9 exemptions may be offered, allowing you to start at the Essential Level.

– Strategic Professional Level – Student who have received all 9 exemptions or have passed the Skills Level will proceed to the Strategic Professional Level, which consist of two compulsory subjects (Essentials), Strategic Business Leader and Strategic Business Reporting, as well as two elective subjects our of four.
